The 1-Stage Whole House System is designed to deliver safer, cleaner water to every faucet and shower head in a home without compromising water pressure. The system features a sediment filter with a three-layer structure and high contaminant holding capacity, made with 100% polypropylene for compatibility with a wide range of process fluids. The filter is formed by thermal bonding, without the use of any binders or adhesives, ensuring maximum operating pressure of 125 PSI and an operating temperature range of 40-100°F.

The 1-inch NPFT port size on the BB housing head/cap is suitable for Max Water's Double O-ring BB systems. A plastic housing wrench is included to assist with checking and replacing the filter without the risk of damaging or breaking the housing. The system also features a vertical pressure gauge to monitor its performance and track filter replacements.

The 1-Stage Whole House System has an approximate filter life of 6 months, with a maximum operating pressure of 90 PSI and a maximum operating temperature of 125°F. The system's dimensions are 28" height, 10 3/8" width, and 8" depth, with a total weight of approximately 17 lbs, including the filters.

The flow rate of the system ranges from 1 to 10 GPM for a 3/4" inlet/outlet, with the pressure drop being determined by factors such as feed water pressure, filter cartridge, fluid viscosity, filter life, and conditions. The oversized filters and housings used in the Whole House Water Filter are designed to maintain the strongest water pressure as much as possible, while the larger housings and filters require less frequent servicing, saving customers' time, money, and effort.

The clear filter housings allow users to observe the filter life and determine the exact time to replace it with a new one. The included gauge helps to read the feed water pressure, whether it's from the city water, a well, or a cottage pump, as well as the outgoing pressure from the first stage.
