The WaterSentinel brand of water filters are manufactured in the USA by Aquamor, LLC, a company based in Temecula, California. Aquamor specializes in the production of point-of-use water filtration products. One of their products is the SF-20W Car Wash Water Filter.

The proudly MADE IN THE USA SF-20W is designed to deliver a spot-free rinse. This filter uses a specially formulated high-capacity DI (deionized) media to remove mineral ions, resulting in an ultra-pure, demineralized water with very low TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). This mineral-free water is a dream for vehicle enthusiasts, as it can be used for various purposes, such as window washing, cleaning chrome finishes and wheels, while also reducing the time required for drying, as the residual water will not leave any spots.

The SF-20W system can be used on cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, as well as for home use when rinsing windows and other surfaces where a spot-free finish is desired. In addition to the SF-20W Car Wash Filter, Aquamor also offers the WSRV-12 RV Water Filter and the WSGH-12 Garden Water Filter.

The SF-20W Car Wash Filter features a heavy-duty design, made in the USA, with reusable blue filter caps that preserve the resin. It also has a reinforced 8-inch brass crimped hose extension, is lead-free, and has an internal seal gasket. The filtration process is enhanced by a sediment pack on both the inlet and outlet, which helps reduce the buildup of calcium, dust, rust, sand, and silt, thus preventing clogging. The deionized media dissolves ions, providing mineral-free water and preventing hard water scale.

The SF-20W is designed for simple, plug-and-play use, requiring no tools for installation, as it fits standard 3/4-inch garden hose threads. For optimal performance, it is recommended to set the spray nozzle to the mist (lowest flow) setting, with a flow rate of less than 0.5 GPM, to allow for maximum contact with the DI media. This will ensure a thorough rinsing of hard water, followed by wiping off any excess water and letting the surface air-dry in the sun. The filter can be used for up to 20 rinses before the DI media needs to be replaced.
